Real-World Testing, No Guesswork
My name is Savannah, also known as V, and I founded VLAB to fill a need I saw in the field-merchandising world. Many companies curate planograms based on dimensions of products in a digital environment, never touching the actual product. This creates a disconnect between what looks feasible on-screen, and what is practical in real-world conditions. As a result, merchandisers must make on-the-spot adjustments to place product anywhere they can in the allotted space. Once this happens, decisions made in curating the plan based on placement, adjacencies, etc get negated in order to make the plan fit. VLAB offers a different approach: by building planograms using the physical products from the beginning, we ensure that each execution is consistent, accurate, and requires no improvisation in the field. What works on screen should not be the standard, what works in-stores is.
